Crni Lug is an old village where Croats lived until the 16th century. They had to flee before the turtles turnip swarming from Like. The Old Black Lug was burned down, and its population was partly taken to Turkish slavery, and partly escaped, over Kupe, to the crane territory. There, in Kočevski, inhabitants of the Black Lizard have lived for several decades. When the Counts of Zrinski announced that Gorski Kotar became safe for the return of Croatian refugees, the descendants of Croats from the Black Sea in the Old Homeland returned. There were not many countries in the old homeland; the inhabitants of the Black Lizard used it to cultivate agricultural crops. They also raised cattle, primarily horses, cattle and pigs. In the composition of the shipyard, Crni Lug has made little progress. The situation improved as a result of the construction of the Lužica Road, when the village got a connection with Delnice. In the middle of the 19th century, there were about one thousand inhabitants in Black Lake. Since 1930 this number has been constantly decreasing. The economic richness of the Black Sea is made up of its forests, but today they are protected and the harvest is strictly limited. The second economic attraction of this area is the area of ​​Risnjak National Park. It covers about 3600 hectares, and was founded in 1953 on the initiative of prof. Dr. Ivo Horvat, a Croatian botanist of the worlds voice.
